We’ll take a look at the layout, loot, strategies, achievements and more to give you a crystal clear vision of success. This is the main raid of the third phase of Cataclysm, giving players an intense adventure where the stakes are high and teamwork is essential. Between 10 to 25 players can group together to take on this challenging battle, so gear up, get your ducks in a row, and get ready for war! Let’s get started with how to reach this heart-racing battle:

WoW - How to Get to The Firelands Raid?

Within your map, you will see Mount Hyjal, and within this area, the Firelands can be found in a zone to the south and surrounded by lava. This is where you can find the vendor for the raid and a summoning stone you can use to summon the rest of your group before entering the WoW Firelands Road entrance. The next thing to get to grips with is the layout of the Firelands raid in WoW. So let's take a look:

Firelands Raid WoW Layout

When you enter, you’ll see that the first section contains five of the seven enemies that you will be facing. Here are the bosses you’ll be facing here:

  • Shannox
  • Lord Rhyolith
  • Beth’tilac
  • Alysrazor
  • Baleroc The Gatekeeper

You can take on the first four in any particular order before battling Baleroc to unlock the next area of the Firelands WoW raid. Once you have done so, enter the second area, where you will encounter Majordomo Staghelm in battle. Lastly, you must face Ragnaros.

The next thing we’ll be exploring in this WoW Firelands raid guide is the Boss strategies to ensure you’re well prepared for the fight ahead. So, let’s get started!

Firelands Raid WoW - Strategies

Each of the seven bosses has their own unique mechanic, which you must master in order to take the win. So, wrapping your head around these before you run into the battlefield will drastically improve your success rates; let’s check out a little bit about each of the enemies you’ll be taking on.

firelands raid wow, shannox

Shannox - Battle Strategies

This boss will patrol the entire front area of the Firelands, giving you more options as to when and where you want this battle to take place. So you’ll want to make sure you have cleared the area you want to use as a battleground, as you’ll be making a lot of movements throughout the fight.

Role-Specific Tips

  • DPS - remain alert of new traps and be prepared to move at a moment’s notice, especially when considering melee DPS. You must also move away from any “Hurl Spear” or “Magna Rupture” locations, as they can easily kill you.
  • Healer - tanks require frequent movement during this Firelands Raid WoW encounter, so ensure you’re always within range of your target to keep them on their feet. You’d also want to coordinate defensive cooldowns for every “Magma Rupture” towards the end of the battle.
  • Tank - your main priority in this encounter is to manage your “Jagged Tear” debuffs, and don’t be afraid to kite if necessary. You and the other tank must also remain aware of each other's positions to keep as much distance between the foes' attacks and weapons. Lastly, you’ll want to try to keep any major defensive cooldowns for the burst phase at the end of the battle.

Shannox Abilities

The last thing we’ll be looking at regarding this WoW Firelands raid boss is his movesets. So, check them out!

  • Immolation Trap
  • Crystal Prison Trap
  • Arcing Slash
  • Jagged Tear
  • Hurl Spear
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Frenzy
  • Magma Rupture

Riplimb

  • Limb Rip
  • Wary
  • Frenzied Devotion

Rageface

  • Face Rage
  • Wary
  • Separation Anxiety

firelands raid wow, rhyolith

Lord Rhyolith - Battle Strategies

For this second encounter, you and your team must control his movements by attacking his left or right leg. Whichever you choose to direct your attacks at will see him turning in that direction. Because of this, you and your fellow players must strategize the best ways to attack in order to coordinate movements and balance out the fight. You can dismiss this strategy and go straight to dealing damage directly to his torso, but this may see you and your team holding less control over the match.

This Firelands raid in WoW battle will see Lord Rhyolith using a built-in soft-enrage mechanic in “Superheated” after 6 minutes of combat (in heroic, it’s only 5 minutes). This mechanic will see Lord Rhyolith gain a stack of Superheated every ten seconds, and he will wipe out the raid if you fail to stop him shortly after the buff is gained.

Role-Specific Tips

  • DPS - melee DPS need to learn to coordinate and follow a single-direction caller to pilot the boss. Focusing adds down quickly while acting as a ranged DPS should be a top priority, and you will always be able to attack the boss's torso if you wish to avoid directional changes.
  • Healer - keep an eye on players with high stacks of “Eruption,” as AoE damage can easily kill them. In this position, you should also rotate raid-wide defensive cooldowns when Lord Rhyolith has high stacks of Superheated in phase two.
  • Tank - when your team has enough ranged DPS to kill adds quickly, you can solo tank the battle with ease and earn an extra DPS. Grab adds quickly as they spawn and stack or move them out of the raid to kill them as soon as possible. You must also be ready with your taunt as soon as the boss hits 25% health, as this is when he activates and starts the attacks on you and your team.

Lord Rhyolith Abilities - Phase One

  • Obsidian Armor
  • Molten Armor
  • Concussive Stomp
  • Drink Magma

Volcano

  • Eruption

Crater

  • Magma Flow
  • Summon Fragment of Rhyolith
  • Fragment of Rhyolith

Spark of Rhyolith

  • Immolation
  • Infernal Rage

Lord Rhyolith Abilities - Phase Two

  • Immolation
  • Unleashed Flame
  • Superheated

firelands raid wow, beth’tilac

Beth’tilac - Battle Strategies

When you and your team take on this creature, you’ll need to split into two groups: a ground-level group and a web group. In the ground group, you’ll need your AoE DPS, and you’ll be focusing on killing spider adds as the fight progresses. Your web-group will consist of one tank, at least one healer, and as much DPS as can be spared from the ground group.

Those on the ground must aim to kill the spider adds before the next spawn, and any DPS which can be spared should go to the web-group to throw as much damage as possible at Beth’tilac before the second phase begins. This Firelands raid WoW boss has the unique resource of Fire Energy, and she will start the battle with full Fire Energy, which will slowly be drained over time. This energy can be siphoned from her ”Cinderweb Drone” broods, which come to her assistance throughout the fight. Once her Fire Energy is entirely depleted, she will unleash “Smoldering Devastation,” which will end any players at the top of the web. After casting this three times, she will descend from the web and begin phase two.

Role-Specific Tips

  • DPS - killing “Cinderweb Spiderlings” is essential and must be done efficiently. Don’t waste too much damage on over-killing adds. Take some time to ensure “Cinderweb Drones” do not deplete any Fire Energy, as you will be able to inflict far less damage before phase two.
  • Healer - since tons of AoE damage is a factor in this Firelands raid WoW encounter, it’s important to coordinate healing assignments to keep the raid going as long as possible. When in heroic difficulty, you must also take time to assist plates targeted by Drones.
  • Tank - grab Cinderweb Drones quickly, face them away from the raid, and kite them from any approaching Spiderlings if they get too close. In the second phase, tanks must swap for “Widow’s Kiss.”

Beth’tilac Abilities - Phase One

  • Ember Flame
  • Meteor Burn
  • Venom Rain
  • Consume
  • Smoldering
  • Devastation

Cinderweb Spinner

  • Burning Acid

Cinderweb Drone

  • Consume
  • Boiling Splatter
  • Burning Acid
  • Fixate

Cinderweb Spiderling

Seeping Venom

Beth’tilac Abilities - Phase Two

  • Frenzy
  • The Widow’s Kiss
  • Ember Flare
  • Consume

Now that we’ve covered our third boss in the Firelands raid in WoW, let’s move on to the forth!

firelands raid wow, alysrazor

Alysrazor - Battle Strategies

For this boss encounter in the Firelands WoW raid, you’ll notice that it has four phases, with you and your team taking on numerous adds, deadly flames and literal gravity itself. Despite these four phases, most of your team's focus will center around the first phase, which lasts three minutes (four minutes and ten seconds in heroic). When enraged, the boss will blast the area with “Firestorm,” which will cover the WoW Firelands raid entrance and exits with Volcanic Fire before taking flight over the battlefield. Alysrazor will then do a strafe-run over the field once a minute, attending those in range with Blazing Claw.

This is where you’ll see her dropping Molten Feathers, which you can collect to gain a buff (up to three feathers can be collected).

Role-Specific Tips

  • DPS - kill adds as efficiently as possible and do not waste damage on padding or overkill. You must also keep your Blazing Power stacks if you want to kill this boss quickly.
  • Healer - keep your tank in your sights during phase one; they’ll need to move a lot during this first phase and may need your assistance at a moment's notice; they’re subject to massive damage in the fourth phase, too, so be ready with defensive cooldowns.
  • Tank - keep your healers in your sights, working with them to ensure you can get the help you need when you need it. Make sure you keep the “Voracious Hatchlings” constantly facing away from the raid to prevent the “Gushing Wound” from affecting other teammates. Lastly, ensure you rotate defensive cooldowns in phase four to survive “Blazing Claw.”

firelands raid wow, baleroc

Baleroc - Battle Strategies

This is the fourth boss encounter in the Firelands Raid WoW, and it must be defeated after you have battled the first four in any particular order. It is the downfall of this boss which will open the gates to the deeper sections of the Firelands for you and your team to take home the win. Fortunately, this battle is fairly straightforward and acts more as a gear check with only a few mechanical responsibilities. Your main concern will be the mechanic the DPS will be dealing with, namely the “Shards of Torment,” which appear throughout the room. For every shard, at least one player must have their focus on it, as if one spawns, and if left alive unattended, it will cast “Wave of Torment” and wipe the raid.

Role-Specific Tips

  • DPS - keep a close eye on “Shards of Torment” and position them within melee range, surrounding them where possible. When playing the WoW Firelands raid in heroic difficulty, be more mindful of the “Tormented” debuff to prevent it from spreading.
  • Healer - find harmony with your two healer squads; have one focus on stacking “Vital Spark” and the other on keeping the tanks standing. The stacks of Vital Spark will last for 60 seconds and will reset after activating “Vital Flame” to allow you to keep stacks. Lastly, as a healer, ensure you don’t get carried away with stacks and communicate when you need to swap duties with other bailable healers to keep the tanks standing.
  • Tank - use avoidance gear to dodge, parry and miss attacks made during “Inferno Blaze” and “Decimation Blade.” You must also always keep your eye on the Shards of Torment positioning in melee range to ensure you aren’t slain by the Tormented debuff.

Baleroc Abilities

  • Decimation Blade
  • Decimating Strike
  • Inferno Blade
  • Inferno Strike
  • Blaze of Glory
  • Incendiary Soul
  • Shards of Torment
  • Wave of Torment
  • Torment
  • Tormented
  • Vital Spark
  • Vital Flame
  • Countdown

firelands raid wow, majordomo

Majordomo Staghelm - Battle Strategies

For the sixth Firelands raid in WoW and the final step between your team and Ragnaros, you’ll need to manage multiple buffs, as well as his two shapeshifting forms. “Cat form” and “Scorpion form” will activate differently depending on your team's positioning during the raid. For every time he shifts form, he will gain a stack of “Fury,” which will increase all damage dealt by 8% per stack, acting like a soft-enrage, preventing the raid from skipping an undesirable form. Either form being in use will cause Majordomo Staghelm to gain energy up to 100, which, once reached, will use a unique ability (varies depending on form). With each special ability, a stack of “Adrenaline” will increase energy regeneration by 20% per stack.

Role-Specific Tips

  • DPS - make killing the “Spirit of the Flames” as fast as possible a priority in this section of the Firelands raid in WoW to keep the Cat form in action for as long as you can. The flames from “Leaping Flames” can kill in seconds, so be ready with movement abilities at the ready for a quick exit. When in heroic difficulty, maintain maximum “Concentration” stacks wherever possible to ensure you meet the DPS requirements.
  • Healer - be prepared to carry out a mana-intensive and quick-healer-reaction-based battle, being mindful of players with high stacks of “Burning Orb” debuffs; this mechanic deals damage for 8 seconds after soaking new stacks has been stopped.
  • Similarly to DPS, in heroic difficulty, you must maintain maximum “Concentration” stacks to meet healing requirements.
  • Tank - save defensive cooldowns so that when healers are struggling, you can keep the raid alive. You’ll also want to consider minor defensive cooldowns and damage-reducing debuffs to take on multiple Spirit of the Flames to keep Cat form in play.

Majordomo Staghelm Abilities

  • Concentration
  • Fury
  • Adrenaline
  • Cat Form

Leaping Flames

  • Spirit of the Flame
  • Scorpion Form
  • Flame Scythe

Night Elf Form

  • Fiery Cyclone
  • Searing Seeds
  • Burning Orbs

firelands raid wow, ragnaros

Ragnaros - Battle Strategies

It’s time to check out the final boss in this Firelands raid in WoW guide. So, gear up as we prepare to go head to head with the Fire Lord once more. The battle ahead is not an easy one, and each and every member of your team must be ready to lock in, listen up, and fight to the death. Ragnaros will be in the center of a lava pool, which can cause you some hefty damage if you stand in it. The battle consists of three phases, each having a short intermission between them, and in heroic difficulty, you’ll find a fourth phase. Since the battle is quite intensive, we’d recommend taking a few trial runs or learning the phases intently before proceeding; if you do take on the challenge blindly, do quick pulls back-to-back in phase one and intermission one to find your feet. To get this part of the Firelands raid WoW journey started, you’ll want to spread your team out into 4 group positions, with your ranged and healers at least 6 yards apart.

Role-Specific Tips

  • DPS - the final battle is almost entirely movement-based, so you’ll want to prioritize proper positioning and placement before anything else. Search for the fiery light beams to gauge where the “Son of Flames” will spawn, allowing you to react to those closest to the hammer as quickly as possible. Lastly, don’t be afraid to use your personal defensive cooldown in difficult times of the battle to give your healers a short break.
  • Healer - buckle up for an extremely long mana, intensive, and heavy healing battle. Remain alert to top up low-health players before “Hand of Ragnaros,” “Wrath of Ragnaros,” or “Magma Trap Eruption” is dealt. You must also be extra attentive to potentiometers' “Dreadflame” fire patches and be ready to administer raid-wide defensive cooldowns.
  • Tank - tank swap for every 3-5 stacks of “Burning Wound,” save defensive cooldowns for times when your healer is moving from multiple mechanics at once, and keep the “Lava Scions” near “Son of Flames” to allow them to be AoE’d down together. Lastly, be cautious of the “Entrapping Roots” position in the fourth phase; you’ll need to keep Ragnaros near them, but do not activate them.

Firelands Raid WoW - FAQ

As with all of our guides, it’s time to take a look at some of those frequently asked questions that play on our reader's minds and put any of your doubts to rest:

Is the WoW Firelands Raid Difficult?

This isn’t one of the hardest raids out there, but that’s not to say it’s a walk in the park, either. In normal difficulty, players must have at least level 35 to participate, but we, of course, always recommend higher levels to give that added edge. Additionally, you must factor in your group size, as even in heroic difficulty, a group of 25 players is going to have an easier time than 10. Given the complexity of some areas of these raids, we advise you to scope out the area, mechanics and phases of these raids to give yourself the best chance of success.

Which expansion is the Firelands Raid in WoW part of?

This raid experience is part of the third phase in WoW Cataclysm Classic, so if you want to enjoy the adrenaline-inducing adventure, make sure you have access to all of the necessary content.

Can You Skip Tutorial Island in OSRS? Can You Skip Tutorial Island in OSRS? Tips & Tricks

Can you skip tutorial island OSRS? Yes, but only during specific events when the NPC called Skippy appears in the starting building with the Gielinor Guide. This feature is not available all the time.

I want to explain why Skippy isn't a permanent NPC.

Jagex uses Tutorial Island as a key filter to catch bots. The tutorial helps them identify and block automated accounts before they reach the main game. This is why they limit when players can skip it.

Many players ask me about faster ways to start fresh accounts. While you can't skip the tutorial most of the time, you can speed through it in about 15 minutes.

If you need extra help getting started, you can buy OSRS gold from Chicks Gold to boost your early game progress.

Some players wonder if Jagex will bring back Skippy permanently. Based on what Mod Ash said, this is unlikely. The bot detection during the tutorial is too valuable for game integrity.

The best approach is to complete Tutorial Island normally. Watch for special events when Skippy might appear - Jagex announces these on their official channels.

Until then, the tutorial remains a required step for all new accounts.

While there are still some mysteries to be solved which we likely won't get the answers to until the Episode is underway, there's still plenty we can provide you answers for to ensure you're well prepared when the battles begin. For instance, there are a few things the community have been pleading for, and their prayers have been answered. With the changes of the last patch, 8.11, the buff of agents like Neon and Reyna destroyed the possibility of playing other agents. The killing buffs they received limit the meta, making the game more repetitive and less diverse in the agent picks.

Other expected changes or adjustments are due to major bugs in the new map, Abyss, and the most recent launch of Valorant. However, the community expects Riot Games to address some problems, like the possibility of surviving the fall from the map when agents fall off the edges. Another thing they should fix is related to Phoenix’s Ultimate when it hits the ground; you were able to walk around the bottom of the map and shoot enemies from below, even in post-plating situations.

Thankfully, Riot will try to solve most of these annoying bugs. The community is also asking for a balance for agents like Reyna, most players pray to nerf her abilities, which are overwhelming for the competitive scene and everyone in general.

Something most relevant about this upcoming update is the Valorant Map Rotation in Episode 9. There’s little to no expectation of seeing a rotation. The Valorant Episode 9 Map Pool is expected to stay the same since the last map addition on the previous patch. The hopes of seeing a new scenario and having some fun are anything but close. However, this is normal since the creation of maps takes time, and it hasn’t been too long since we were provided with Abyss.

However, a new agent is expected since Riot Games teases an image showing claw-like hands covered in a dense fog. However, there is still little to no information regarding this agent aside from the fact it is rumored their kit will include twisting vines and sharp thorns. So, it's likely we will see them introduced at a later stage of Valorant Episode 9.

What we know is that the competitive game mode Premier will receive some updates and adjustments with Episode 9 Valorant. These changes are a necessity, and here you can check what will be part of the game in this upcoming update:

  • Invite Division: It’s when you finish the Stage with a rank high enough to earn an opportunity to reach the Challenger League
  • Roster Restriction: For this one, you must be Contender Eligible to be able to join a team or invite someone in Contender.
  • Contender and Invite Weekly Matches: You will have two matches per week, and the queue opens 15 minutes before the matches start. Moreover, the Strict Rematch Protection is on, and if you can’t find a match, you won’t lose award points; simply say Bye.
  • Contender and Invite Playoffs: You can qualify for the playoffs by being one of the top teams. The playoff finals are best of 3.

Downtime is expected to be 4 hours for Valorant Episode 9, and depending on the location, the update can hit on June 25th or June 26th. If you are in Asia or Korea, the update will be delayed a little, and the American counterpart will have some first thoughts on this new Episode earlier.

Episode 9 Valorant: What Else Is New?

Aside from Valorant Episode 9 Act 1, there have been some other talks going on in the community, and another exciting announcement was made. Valorant has taken its first steps into console territory. Recently, Xbox and PlayStation 5 players have been able to enjoy a limited beta of Valorant, allowing players to test the waters of the game on varying platforms.

It isn't the complete version of Valorant, but it does introduce console players to all core non-competitive game modes to allow a select number of players to test their skill during the beta. Nonetheless, it's still big news for those who wish to prove their in-game skills without owning a PC. So, for those of you who have long wondered when the game will be available across other platforms, your wait is slowly coming to an end!

If you want to partake in the beta testing, it isn't as simple as just downloading and diving into action; you will first need to have a key/code to enter. So make sure you don't delay too long.

During the test of Valorant on console, players had the opportunity to connect their Valorant account. While the skins and cosmetics aren’t added just yet, they will be included in future updates and will offer the same level as PC on the final version following the beta. Testers will have noticed that Riot decided to block the cross-play with PC players, and the only way to play the beta was with a controller. It’s not possible to play with a mouse and keyboard; this decision is to ensure consistency and avoid any advantage for those with different peripherals.

For the moment, the question "Can you play Valorant on console?" remains. The answer is somewhat up in the air, with a yes and a no. Let’s elaborate on this. This is a limited beta only available for players in the following locations: USA, Canada, Europe, and Japan; however, the Riot team will open up to more regions while the beta is still active, so if you are not part of the first wave, don’t worry you will have more chances to test Valorant on console in the near future.

The tester will not only have the chance to play the first stages of Valorant on console, but they will also obtain a special player card for being part of the limited beta. It’s more than likely the Riot team will allow new players to enter the beta until the testing period ends, and that will be followed by the full version launch of Valorant for a new sector of the gamer community: console players.

Diablo Immortal Tempest - The Wind And Water Class Diablo Immortal Tempest - The Wind And Water Class Tips & Tricks

The introduction of a new class in the Diablo universe is not an easy task, as there is so much more to explore than the class itself. Players are also offered all of the new content that comes with it. Tempest, the new class that arrived following the Blood Knight, which was the last to be introduced nine years ago. Now, with Diablo Immortal’s Tempest arrival, the game is full of new abilities and moves that players will enjoy while diving into this new adventure!

Diablo Immortal Tempest Skills

Most of the abilities that come with Tempest in Diablo Immortal focus on duplicating your character to set up attacks from different angles. This will create clones that will mimic your attacks. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss, so let’s break down all the abilities you can use with this new class.

Passive Skill: Mist Touched

The Tempest’s passive will make your attacks periodically conjure a Zephyr to help you in your questing, attacking and mimicking most of your Skills before dissipating into a Mist-Touched Orb. Every time you collect the orbs, it will reduce the cooldown of Misted-Touched, but if any of your allies collect the orbs, it will empower them, and their next skill will conjure a Zephyr that will mimic the attacks they use. As we mentioned, while using Diablo Immortal Tempest, many of your skills will conjure Zephyrs, but this won’t allow you to control all of them. You can only control up to 3 at one time.

Primary Attacks & Ultimates

You will focus on using the power of wind and water for your primary attacks and your ultimates. You can combine them with your passive to build great blocks to help you understand more about the Tempest Class in Diablo Immortal.

  • Wind Edge: This primary attack will use the violent wind to make an empowering attack, allowing you to slash at nearby enemies quickly. It will deal damage, but if the enemies are out of range, you can rush to them; however, if you want to replicate this attack on an enemy player, you will experience a cooldown.
  • Piercing Gale (Ultimate): This ultimate will enhance Wind Edge for a short time, allowing you to charge forward and slice your enemies into pieces with high damage. During activating this ultimate, you will gain a shield that absorbs damage.
  • Wave Edge (Unlocked at level 34): Instead of wind, Tempest in Diablo Immortal will use water to crash the tides and create water whips that will allow you to do a series of sweeping attacks, dealing great damage to your primary target and some to nearby enemies.
  • Power of the Deeps (Ultimate): This will temporarily enhance Wave Edge, giving you an extended range than usual and letting you attack all enemies. You will also gain a shield that absorbs damage.

Skills

Like the other classes, you will have the option of numerous skills, but the ones you choose will depend on your build and play style. Tempest Class in Diablo Immortal brings some innovative mechanics to the game that you can use during your adventure.

  • Breaker: You will unleash a wave with blade edges that will crash over your enemies, dealing area damage. When the wave crashes into the ground, you will see it conjures a Zephyr.
  • Crosswinds: When you use this skill, the wind is your ally; you and your Zephyr will create a cutting-edge wind to your selected location.
  • Vortex (Unlocked at level 3): This skill will create a vortex that will pull in nearby enemies, dealing them continuous damage while in the vortex.
  • Squall (Unlocked at level 8): You will call the wind's power to teleport to a selected location, and it will create a swirl of attacks and deal damage. Your Zephyrs will follow you and do the same as you, giving you more chances to create chaos.
  • Blade Dance (Unlocked at level 15): The Tempest in Diablo Immortal will throw blades from the edges of the skill that go forward into the ground and damage any enemy that reaches the blades. It will stun your opponents, and after a short delay, you will pull yourself into the blade, damaging and knocking the enemies that cross your path.
  • Cascade (Unlocked at level 20): You and your Zephyrs will use the water to slam your enemies with the edge into the ground, crashing a wave around you and damaging all the foes within the area of effect.
  • Flowing Strike (Unlock at level 28): You will conjure a Zephyr at your current location while dashing forward in a flurry of blades and water. This skill will damage all the enemies that are in your way.
  • Tidal Rush (Unlocked at level 38): using this skill will make you and your Zephyr dash at each other’s location to slice through the enemies in the area of effect.
  • Zephyr Surge (Unlocked at level 41): Diablo Immortal Tempest will dissipate into the air, and you will be untargetable for a short period. Alongside, you will unleash a flurry of 5 slashes on nearby enemies. This skill will consume your conjured Zephyrs but will empower the attack with an extra slash for each Zephyr consumed.
  • Wind Walk (Unlocked at level 44): When you use this skill, you will create a cyclone that temporarily increases your Attack Speed. Wind Walk will make you untargetable while you stay inside the storm.
  • Rolling Surf (Unlocked at level 47): You will use the sea to empower you and your Zephyrs to make your Primary Attacks hurl water blades, able to penetrate your enemies while dealing damage. Moreover, you get an increased Movement Speed and the ability to ride a wave that will let you use your Primary Attack and move simultaneously.
  • Riptide (Unlocked at level 50): Command the water you have around you into a crushing tide that will pull in nearby enemies, damaging and stunning them.
  • Stormfury (Unlocked at level 53): With this skill, you will combine your edges and the weapons of nearby allies to cause your Primary Attacks to unleash slashes of wind with additional damage to them.

You will go through the young Tempest, which is defending the denizens of Sanctuary. In the short cinematic of the quest, you will notice the several skills you can learn with this class and dive in to harness the Cold Isles. At this point, you must face the fateful encounter resulting in the Tempest's exile and leaving their home, forcing you to get on a self-discovery journey with tons of action.

Tempest Trial Dungeon

You will gain the right to wield the storm’s full wrath if you are brave enough to go through this dungeon. Select Tempest: Create a New Character

If you want to experience Diablo Immortal Tempest to its fullest, creating a new character and starting your journey as one will allow you to fully customize your adventure and wander around to reach your new path.

Class Change

It’s not a new incorporation into Diablo Immortal, but with the recent release of Tempest, you will get a temporary augmenting in the Class Change cooldown; this means you can change your class during the first week of the event as many times you like and go from Tempest to your original class. To do so, you must have an existing character once you unlock Westmarch. In older versions, you must be level 35, but when you reach Westmarch you are now able to Class Change.

Diablo Immortal Tempest Class: New Paragon System

The Diablo Immortal developers included some changes to the Paragon System, the main goal being to increase the versatility and choice for the players. The new system's overall goal is to make it easier to combine and collect skills that fit various playstyles. With the latest changes introduced with Diablo Immortal Tempest, you will have more flexibility to equip and combine different abilities, creating and granting a greater build diversity and bringing versatility to the game.

The new system will simplify the old system to create a better pool of skills you can use anytime. Now, the system will refer to 5 new trees instead of 15. In each tree, you will have a pool of 15 skills you can choose from, and you will be able to select from any of the 5 trees. Moreover, these trees will unlock sequentially, giving you access to more trees while you spend more Paragon Points. You will unlock the next available tree if you spend 10 Paragon Points on a tree. Here’s the modification to the Paragon System using the 5 new trees:

  • Vanquisher (Includes: Vanquisher, Treasure Hunter, Massacre)
  • Survivor (Includes: Survivor, Mastermind, Apothecary)
  • Gladiator (Includes: Gladiator, Soldier, Champion)
  • Brawler (Includes Brawler, Warden, Executioner)
  • Slinger (Includes Duelist, Weaver, Ranger)

WoW Classic Era Gold: How to Earn it Best and More! WoW Classic Era Gold: How to Earn it Best and More! Tips & Tricks

Welcome back to another excellent installment in the Chicks Gold blog series! Within this article, we will discuss Classic Era WoW gold and how exactly you can get your hands on some to build your fortune, empire, and inventory. There are several different categories of money-making in WoW, such as farming, crafting, and trading, all of which have many of their own methods. In this guide, we will explore multiple options from each of the above categories so you have the best chance of earning some decent amounts of gold. So, without further delay, let’s get into it!

Finding The Right Profession To Earn WoW Classic Era Gold

While you can earn gold however you wish in-game, if you’re looking to make the most of it, you will need to consider your profession a little more in-depth. The best professions for earning are Alchemy and Herbalism. This is because Alchemists can make valuable potions and elixirs that are always wanted on the market, and Herbalists gather the materials necessary for many in-game recipes. Mining and Skinning are also good professions to consider, as they offer a decent and steady amount of resources that you can sell at the AH (auction house).

Why Do I Need WoW Classic Era Gold?

Despite Classic Era gold in WoW not technically being essential to maneuver through Azeroth, it certainly helps. You will have a very difficult time just trying to acquire things in drops or by pure luck throughout your endeavors. Plus, you will not be able to excel through the in-game levels if you don’t have gold; things like class abilities, equipment, etc, are costly. Take a look at the list below to see the things WoW Era Classic gold can get you:

  • New abilities
  • Mounts
  • Enchants
  • Gear

Each of these categories is brimming with excellent products to take you even further in World of Warcraft. Fortunately for our readers, we’re here to show you the mechanics and methods necessary to get that all-important gold.

Creating a Bank ALT for WoW Classic Era Gold

If you’re a veteran player of the World of Warcraft games, you’ll know all too well that the storage space provided for players can be less than satisfactory. This means you’re unable to carry your essential weapons, armor, etc., depending on your class. This is before you even consider additional items that you’ll need to carry out activities in-game. Due to this painstaking lack of space in player inventory, as well as the lack of guild banks, we recommend creating a ‘Bank ALT.’

A Bank ALT is a secondary character you create for the sole purpose of holding the attributes you wish to sell, assisting you in making a WoW Era Classic gold fortune. A few things to remember before you create this ALT is that you should not use a character that you actively play, as this will just hinder your progress, both in money making and regular gameplay for that character. You should also consider the class you choose for your ALT; try to use a character that will work well with your main class. Sending mail to an ALT bank has a max mail cap of 100, and once this is reached, you will no longer be able to send to this character to continue your WoW Classic Era gold earning. Additionally, when you send an item to this character, there is a 1-2 hour delivery time; however, if you do not access the item from the ALT character, you can instantly retrieve it from your main when needed by hitting the ‘RETURN’ button.

The last thing to consider with your ALT is to always have it logged off in the inn. This will allow you to gain rest XP faster than usual, and since there is no cap on rest XP, you can get multiple levels worth, while this character is logged off. Now that you know how to hoard as many resources as possible for your earning journey, let’s get into the methods of earning gold.

Farming and Gathering WoW Classic Era Gold

These are two of the more simple methods that players can choose to begin their Classic Era WoW gold-earning journey. Take a look below to get started building your bank:

Gathering WoW Classic Era Gold

There’s plenty to be gathered in WoW Classic Era, most of which can bring a decent income. Best of all, this can be done as a passive method while you level your characters, gathering things such as ore, leather, fish, Mageweave, gems, herbs, linen, stones, and more that can be traded at a later point. When it comes time to sell your items, do so at the auction house and make use of your bank ALT to streamline the process. You can also optimize the process further by asking in the game’s trade chat for constant buyers and keeping an eye out for other players looking to engage in trades.

wow classic era gold

Farming WoW Classic Era Gold

Farming gold is a great option, too, but it is better suited for players with a higher level character (level 40+). You’ll earn gold using this method by completing runs, killing known bosses several times, and running the dungeon repeatedly to get the best drops. It’s worth noting, however, that this method is slower in terms of return than gathering. This shouldn’t discourage you, though, as if you are persistent with your methods and hold out for the best drops; you have a far better chance of earning more for your hard work.

If, during your time farming gold, you encounter an item and you are unsure of its worth, you can compare it with similar items on the market to gauge your potential earnings. If this isn’t doable, or you find that you’re still unsure, put the price you’re looking to get for the item as its base, then a much higher price for the buyout 24-hour bid window. The best time to do so would be the weekend, preferably on Friday after 7 pm, as this is typically when the game has more engagement from players, and you’re more likely to make a quick sale than during weekdays. While you may think this doesn’t matter, you must factor in the cost of placing an item for auction and the fact that if it does not sell in the allotted time, it will be returned to you, and you will have to pay again to advertise.

Below are a few more specific examples of the thighs you can farm to earn WoW Era Classic gold:

  • Spider’s Silk - Acquired from Spiders in Arathi Highlands or the Stonetalon Mountains
  • Arcane Crystals - Found in Thorium Veins, most likely acquired along the sidelines of the zone in the southern Silithus or Un’goro Crater.
  • Disgusting Oozeling - This is a drop from the Green Oozes in Felwood at Bloodvenom Falls. Though this has a low drop rate, the gold return is great. It can be found at an additional site also: a cave north of the road at the far east of Western Plaguelands.
  • Formula: Enchanted Weapon - Crusader - A drop from Scarlet Mages at Tyr’s Hand. This method is recommended for players level 60+ or group encounters.
  • Righteous Orb - Can be obtained from Stratholme Cathedral of Scarlet side.
  • Chimaerok Tenderloin - These can be gained from level 60 Chimeras in the Isle of Dread.

WoW Classic Era Gold - Best Farming Spots

Here are some of the best spots to start your earning journey:

  • Eastern Plaguelands
  • Felwood
  • Silithus
  • Deadwind Pass
  • Barrens
  • Stranglethorn Vale
  • Feralas
  • Winterspring

Crafting WoW Classic Era Gold

If you go down the crafting route, you should be prepared to first spend between 10-20 gold to get the necessary supplies and get things started; additionally, you will likely lose money in the early stages until you reach around 150 skill points. This is due to early-stage crafting items not having the same demand, but once you get into the higher levels, your earnings should quickly pick up.

To make your crafting journey that little bit easier, you should get in contact with a constant supplier. Just like finding a constant buyer for gathering, a constant supplier will make your crafting journey run more efficiently. Not only will this allow for a more constant flow of supplies, but you will also have a chance of getting the needed items for a more desirable price.

Unfortunately, this method comes with a downside once you reach level 60, as many crafted items become inadequate. So, if you choose to earn WoW Classic Era gold using this method, try to be strategic and watch your levels to get the most from the method.

wow classic era gold, wow classic gold era

Buy Low, Sell High

Again, you’ll need at least ten gold to get this Classic Era WoW gold-making method underway. The premise of this method is fairly simple: you just need to buy an item for a low price and sell it for above the odds (within reason). But there’s, of course, the question of how to get these cheap items. The best way to do so is to keep an eye on the trade chats and filter through the WTS (want to sell) messages; once you locate an item or items that you deem suitable, enter into negotiations with the seller. You’ll want to keep an eye out for traders who wish to sell their items ASAP and are avoiding the AH. These sellers will be more likely to take a lower price for their items if they’re in a hurry.

There are a few things to consider about the market before you begin your trading; take a look below:

  • Item demand - Just because you find an item that you know is below its typical market value does not necessarily make it a good choice. You need to check the market for items in demand and consider those first. While you can technically use this method for any item, if you’re looking to make a steady profit, you’ll need to be more particular about your choices.
  • Haggling - Don’t be afraid to negotiate with traders. Some will be far more aggressive with their demands than others, but you will need to push back to get cheap sales to make this method worthwhile.
  • Buy cheap finds - While this may seem contradictory to our statement regarding item demand, there will be some instances where you will encounter an item that is not exactly high in demand but too cheap to miss out on. If you encounter an item that is somewhat in demand from other players and has an unbeatable price, take it and do what you can to sell it. This will not likely be a common occurrence, but it’s certainly something to keep in mind.

Controlling the WoW Classic Era Gold Market

This is one of the most costly methods of earning WoW Era Classic gold, but it can bring in some of the best profits if done correctly. This method involves purchasing every listing of a particular item from the market and then selling those same items for a higher price. While similar to buying low and selling high, there are some differences. Firstly, you’ll need to have a decent bank to begin with in order to purchase all of the said items, and then the other major difference is, you set the price. Not just selling it for more than its market value, but since this method will mean you are the only trader selling the particular item, you can set the price as high as you like. However, it’s key to remember that you will need to have a reasonable price range if you want to ensure sales are frequent and fluid.

An example of this method would be purchasing stacks of Large Glimmering Shards for one gold until you are the sole trader, then marking up the price to earn as much gold as possible. This item is a decent candidate for this method as it is needed for disenchanting blue items, so if you do take this route, try to do so with an item of similar stance that has purpose and demand.

You will need to watch the market closely, as there is a chance some other trader will swoop in and provide the item for a lower price. If this happens, simply buy them out and continue with your sales. In some cases, though, you will find multiple traders will appear offering the same item. This is a more troublesome issue, as you will likely get lost in a sea of cheaper traders and may have to abandon the market altogether. You must also take into consideration before you take this approach that some players will not take kindly to you monopolizing the market; so don’t go down this route if you aren’t prepared to potentially take a hit to your in-game reputation. Lastly, you must consider the time this method will take to elevate your WoW Classic Era gold-making journey. You will spend a lot of time manually checking AH and your sales, your skilling and leveling priorities will have to be lessened, and you will have to set aside a chunk of time each day to monitor the market for at least a week.
