So now, let's check out the Lost Ark PowerPass and everything that entails.
The PowerPass within Lost Ark is used as an alternate method of boosting one of your Alt characters straight to level 50. You have the opportunity to get your hands on two PowerPasses throughout your gaming endeavors, though they are at times difficult to obtain and understand. But don't worry, that's why Chicks Gold is here! We will happily explain all the nitty-gritty details and get you on the right track.
The first thing you need to do to ensure you are on the right path to unlocking the Power Passes available to you is to use your first character to work through the main storyline. Next, work your way through North Vern, following the blue world quest chain to get to the final quest, 'Ealyns Gift'. After completing this quest, you will receive a 'PowerPass Token.'
To activate your token, you will need to accept it. You should receive this token via your train-game email. Once you have accepted the token, right-click on it in your inventory. This will activate your PowerPass token, and you will then be able to use it in the character select menu. You will only be able to receive your second pass following the completion of the Adventures Path process.
How do you use a Power Pass in Lost Ark? This is often where players face difficulty, as this process can be somewhat confusing. Don't worry, though; that's what we are here for! The first thing you will want to take note of is that you can't simply activate the pass with a new character and throw yourself into the action. You can, however, get started relatively quickly once you have the hang of things.
To begin, you will need to create your character to your desired specifications and then hit launch. You will then need to touch the Tome of Prophecy in the Trixion tutorial area and choose which advanced class you wish. Following this, you will then need to return to the character select menu, and you should see a 'Power Pass available' icon above the character. You can then select the PowerPass button to the right of launch and start on the adventurers' path.
This is a short series of playable storylines broken up by Beatrice recapping the main story with cutscenes and dialogue. To complete every section, players will need around thirty minutes, and at the end of the playthrough, you will find your character is returned to the Vern at an epic level of 50. In addition, your character will also be equipped with a set of item level 302 gear.
It is possible to skip through the sections of the Adventurer Path, though this will mean you miss out on the once-per-roster items that are up for grabs at the end of each section. Instead, we recommend players carry out the sections until they have at least acquired the Battle Item Chest; doing so means they will get their hands on free HP Potions.
Players can acquire a secondary pass, but keep in mind that those who use the second pass to re-enter the Adventurers Path will not receive the item rewards at the end of each section. However, you can still participate in the playable storylines if you so wish. You will also be able to get your hands on these rewards if you choose to skip through your first adventure.
The Power Pass itself does not expire, though you should still be careful how you use it. Make sure you are confident with your decision, as even though you can get your hands on two, keep in mind that is all you can get. Once you have received and used your two Power Passes, you will not be able to acquire more.
Once you have set your mind on your second class, you can begin using the Power Pass. Again, taking advantage of your Alts in the game can be highly beneficial. As you progress through the levels of the game, you will find it more and more challenging to get your hands on the desired amount of materials to hone your gear. Not to mention daily tasks such as Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids may be rewarding, but there is rarely ever enough to carry out the necessary functions. So, carrying out these activities using a second or third character to then pass the materials back to your primary can be an effective way of speeding up your progress.
