The Adopt Me NR Axolotl is a Neon Ride version of the Axolotl, a limited legendary pet in Adopt Me! NR stands for Neon Ride, so this pet glows and players can ride it.
The Axolotl was released on August 26, 2021. Players could buy it in the Pet Shop. For its first two weeks, the 2021 Summer Sale gave it a 50% discount. It later showed up in the Final Stop Shop and left the game on May 18, 2023. Since then, trading is the only way to get one.
The Axolotl has a pink body with darker pink spots on its back, a rounded snout, and a pink tail. It has two black beady eyes and six dark pink gills. As a Neon pet, it glows bright yellow inside its gills and along the spots that run from its head to the end of its tail.
As it grows, the Axolotl learns Sit, Joyful, Beg, Jump, Trick 1, and Trick 2. The Mega Neon version glows in the same spots, but those spots cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
