Description
The Pterodactyl is a rare pet in Adopt Me! It came out on October 10, 2020, as part of the Fossil Isle Excavation event. It hatched from the Fossil Egg, which was priced at 750. The egg gave a 25% chance at a rare pet, but only an 8.33% chance at a Pterodactyl.
This is a limited pet. It can only be gotten through trading or by hatching a leftover Fossil Egg. Other pets from the same egg include the Tasmanian Tiger, Triceratops, Glyptodon and Dodo.
The Pterodactyl has a dark gray-blue body with a yellow belly and feet. A long red crest sticks out from the top of its head, and a long yellow beak points out below. Its wings have red tips.
The Neon Pterodactyl glows purple on its crest, wing edges and feet. The Mega Neon version glows in the same spots, but the color cycles through the rainbow.
As it grows, it learns Sit, Lay Down, Beg and Jump. It learns two more tricks at Post-Teen and Full Grown.
