Description
The Tegu is a limited common pet in Adopt Me! It was released on August 15, 2025, alongside the Aztec Egg. The Aztec Egg cost 750, and each one gave a 35% chance to hatch a Tegu.
The Aztec Egg left the game on February 28, 2026. After that date, the Tegu can only come from hatching leftover Aztec Eggs or from trading. This makes it a good pick for players who missed the egg or want to finish their Aztec Egg collection.
As the Tegu grows, it learns new tricks. It starts with Sit as a Newborn. It learns Joyful as a Junior, Beg as a Pre-Teen, and Jump as a Teen. More tricks come at the Post-Teen and Full Grown stages.
The Neon Tegu glows orange on its head markings, body stripes, spots, and tail stripes. The underside of its head and body glows too, along with the spots around its eyes. The Mega Neon Tegu glows in the same places, but the colors cycle through the rainbow.
