The Big Black Dragon is a super rarity pet in Grow a Garden 2. It looks like a black dragon with a wyvern shape, and its design takes inspiration from the Ender Dragon in Minecraft.
This pet has a passive ability that works while it flies around your garden. It eats ripe fruit as it flies. Each second, it has a 3.5% chance to eat a ripe fruit, with an 8 second cooldown between eats. The Big variant eats fruit 1.25 times as often as the normal Black Dragon, so it works faster in your garden.
After the dragon eats 8 fruit, it lays an egg after a short random delay of 10 to 30 seconds. The egg hatches into a pet based on the fruit the dragon ate. This makes the Big Black Dragon a strong pick for players who want to turn their garden fruit into new pets.
In the game, this pet is obtained through Guild Rewards at the end of the second and third Guild Week. Its rare status and useful ability make it one of the most wanted pets in Grow a Garden 2.
