Description
The Rainbow Owl is a rare version of the Owl pet in Grow a Garden 2. The normal Owl is an Uncommon pet that spawns anywhere on the map. It only turns Rainbow if it spawns during the Rainbow Moon, and even then it has just a 2% chance. That makes this pet hard to find on your own.
The Rainbow Owl helps you see more at night. It extends your view distance by 15.63%, which is more than the normal Owl's 12.5% boost. It also hoots loudly when a rare pet spawns nearby. It gives a "hoo-hoo" call for a Legendary pet and a high-pitched "hoo" for a Mythic pet. The rare pet is also highlighted in the color of its rarity, so it is easy to spot.
The Owl is more active at night. During the day it perches often, but at night it perches for only a few seconds at a time. When equipped as an active pet, it gives you its buff, and the same buff stacks if you equip more than one. The Rainbow Owl is a great pick for players who hunt rare pet spawns after dark.
