Description

The Cooked Owl is a Mythical pet in Grow a Garden on Roblox. It was added on June 14, 2025 during the Crafting Update. It was only given out to players who were in the game at that time, so it cannot be hatched from eggs. This makes it a rare and exclusive pet.

The Cooked Owl looks like the normal Owl pet, but its body is brown like a barbecued bird. It has drumsticks in place of wings, and smoke rises from its head. It hops around the garden, sometimes flies, and makes hooting sounds.

This pet has two passive abilities. With Let Him Cook, every 15 minutes there is a 15.35% chance it will cook a nearby fruit. The fruit usually gets the Burnt mutation, but sometimes it gets the Cooked mutation. The Burnt mutation is exclusive to the Cooked Owl and gives crops a 4x multiplier. With King of the Grill, all of your active pets gain an extra 0.17 XP per second.

The Cooked Owl started as a joke by Jandel, the game's creator, about turning the Wise Old Owl into a barbecue cosmetic. Players loved the idea, so it became a real pet.
