Buy Grow a Garden GIANT Quetzal

Description

The Giant Quetzal is a limited legendary pet in Grow a Garden. It came out on May 23, 2026, in the third part of the Bizzy Bee Event 2026. Players could unlock the Giant version by reaching Level 25 in the Season 5 Pass with the Premium Pass. It can no longer be earned in the game.

The Giant Quetzal uses the Resplendent Bird ability. Every 3 minutes and 20 seconds, it has a 20% chance to mutate a nearby fruit with the Resplendent mutation. The ability gets better as the pet gains weight. The cooldown drops by 3 seconds for every kg, down to a low of 1 minute and 40 seconds. The chance goes up by 0.15% for every kg, up to a cap of 40%.

This pet matters because it is the only way to make the Resplendent mutation in the game. That mutation is needed for the Moss Wyvern, whose passive uses nearby Resplendent mutations for mutation conversion and XP. The Giant Quetzal has a high hunger stat of 25,000, so it needs regular feeding or hunger support pets during long farming sessions.
