The Golden Piggy is a mythical pet in Grow a Garden. It joined the game on November 22, 2025 as part of the Trader Event. It looks almost the same as the regular Pig, but its body is golden.

This pet has a passive trait called Gold Hoarder. It gives extra XP to all nearby pets within 30 to 60 studs. Each Gold Ingot Cosmetic placed in your garden adds 0.1 to 0.2 XP per second to that boost. The current top rate is 35 XP per second. That needs 175 Gold Ingots and a Golden Piggy at the 0.2 XP per second cap.

The Golden Piggy is great for players with big pet collections. Every pet in range levels up faster. Place it near pets that are close to leveling up to get the most from the boost. Fill your garden with Gold Ingot Cosmetics to make it even stronger.

In the game, the Golden Piggy is made by crafting. The recipe uses one Silver Piggy, one Pizza, one Tanning Mirror, and one Medium Treat. Crafting takes 45 minutes. The pet has a hunger stat of 24,000.
