Description

The Hex Serpent is a Divine rarity pet in Grow a Garden. It joined the game on October 18, 2025 as part of the Halloween event. It is a black and red snake with a yellow crown and yellow glowing eyes.

This pet has a special ritual ability. Place a Hex Circle cosmetic in your garden, then plant five single-harvest plants inside it. The Hex Serpent will perform a ritual, eat the plants, and give you random rewards. Rarer plants and better variants like Silver, Gold, and Rainbow give better results.

Rewards come in two rounds. The first round can give gears, seeds, Sheckles, and eggs. Prizes include a Legendary Egg, a Grandmaster Sprinkler, a Master Sprinkler, and more. The second round grants mutations such as Bloodlit, Celestial, Vamp, Zombified, Pestilent, and Severed.

The Hex Serpent is hard to get in the game. It only drops from the Gravedigger minigame with a 2.33% chance, and it cannot be bought from any in-game shop. It is no longer obtainable in the game. This makes it a rare pick for players who want strong ritual rewards and a rare snake in their garden.
