Description
The Huge Gnome is a legendary pet in Grow a Garden. It was added on August 23, 2025, as part of the Beanstalk Event. The pet looks a lot like the Sam Gnome cosmetic, with a few small changes.
The Gnome comes with a trait called Gnome Collector. Every so often, it has a chance to mutate a random fruit with the Gnomed mutation. This chance grows for every Gnome cosmetic placed in the garden. Players who collect Gnome cosmetics can stack the odds and get more Gnomed fruit over time.
In the game, this pet is hard to get. It first appeared in Goliath's Goods, the Giant's shop at the top of the Beanstalk. Players had to raise the Giant's friendship level six times just to unlock it, and then pay 150,000,000 Sheckles if it was in stock. It can now also come from the Gnome Merchant.
The Gnome is a fun piece of Grow a Garden history too. It was the first pet that could be bought straight from a Merchant. That makes it a solid pick for pet collectors and for players who want more fruit mutations.
