Description

The Huge Hummingbird is a rare pet in Grow a Garden. It looks like a real hummingbird, with a sapphire blue chin and a beak that fades from red to maroon. It was added in the Seed Stages update on September 27, 2025.

The Hummingbird has a special ability. About once every minute, it turns a random single-harvest plant in your garden into its seed. It skips favorited plants and Evo plants. This makes it a great way to clear out your garden without using Reclaimers. It is also handy after quests. If you planted extra crops for a quest, the Hummingbird picks up the seeds so you can plant them again later.

This pet has one more big perk. Its ability is the only way to get Golden Egg seeds in the game. Keep in mind that these seeds will not have the Fortune mutation when replanted. Also, if it works on a variant plant like a rainbow radish, it gives back a normal seed instead of the variant.

The Hummingbird normally hatches from the Jungle Egg at a 30% chance. Its hunger stat is 8,000.
