It wears a party hat, red sunglasses, and a red bow. The Rainbow version comes from the Rainbow Premium New Year's Egg, which hatches pets with the Rainbow Mutation.

This puppy has a passive ability called Celebration's Best Friend. Every 2 minutes and 35 seconds, it has a 12.25% chance to dig up a random New Year cosmetic. The player does not need to stand in the garden for this to work. The cosmetic goes right into the player's inventory, and a message on screen shows what was found.
