This pet has two passive abilities. Hound of Ash applies the Ash mutation to a random fruit every 9 minutes and 56 seconds. Hound of Haze applies the Haze mutation to a random fruit every 13 minutes and 15 seconds. These mutations raise the value of your plants and change how they look. The Hazehound is one of the few pets that gives two mutations at once.
The Hazehound came out with the Easter Event on April 4, 2026. Players earned it by reaching Level 40 in Season Pass 4, and the Rainbow version came from the Premium Pass. It is a limited pet, so it may not be obtainable right now. It has a hunger value of 66,666. Many players rank it as the third-best pet from Season Pass 4, right behind the Boreal Orange and Cerberus.
