The Huge Rainbow New Year's Chimp is a limited mythical pet from the New Year's Event in Grow a Garden on Roblox. It looks like a chimpanzee with gold "2026" glasses and a black party hat with yellow strands on top.
This pet has a passive trait called Primate Productivity. Every few minutes, it grabs a random fruit from your garden and gives you one of four bonus effects. It can give a random pet 2,000 XP. It can cut an egg's hatch time by 200 seconds. It can give you Event Lanterns or Recall Wrenches. It can also try to apply the Clockwork mutation to a fruit, but this effect is bugged right now and may fail. The chimp does not eat favorited plants, and the bonus it picks each time is random.
The New Year's Chimp hatches from the New Year's Egg or the Premium New Year's Egg, with a 15% chance in both. Since it is only available during the New Year's Event, it is a rare pet that many players want in their garden.
