The Huge Scarlet Macaw is a Legendary pet in Grow a Garden on Roblox. It comes from the Paradise Egg, which was added on June 21, 2025 in the Summer Update. Each Paradise Egg has an 8% chance to hatch a Scarlet Macaw.

This pet has a special ability called Verdant Bird. About every 8 minutes, it has about a 16% chance to mutate a nearby fruit. This gives the fruit the Verdant mutation. The Scarlet Macaw is the only way to get the Verdant mutation in the game. When it uses its ability, a rainbow aura and feathers appear around it.

The Scarlet Macaw is mostly red with a grey beak, black eyes, and yellow feet. Its wings are red with a yellow strip and blue tips. It has a red crest and a white patch around its eyes shaped a bit like a heart.

The pet starts at 1kg at Age 1 and can reach 12.27kg at Age 125. Its hunger is 12,000. It also has a variant called the Hyacinth Macaw, which gives the Cloudtouched mutation instead.
