The Huge Sea Otter is a legendary pet in Grow a Garden. It came out in the Animal Update on May 3, 2025. It hatches from the Legendary Egg with a 10.64% chance, which makes it harder to get than the Cow or Silver Monkey.
This pet waters your plants for you. It sprays water on the nearest plant within about 15 studs. The spray speeds up that plant's growth, just like a Watering Can. The Sea Otter gets faster as it gains weight. It sprays every 30 seconds minus its weight, down to a cap of one spray every 5 seconds. That makes it one of the easiest pets to bring to the cap.
The Sea Otter has dark brown fur, a light brown mouth and lower body, black facial features, and light brown whiskers. It even makes squeaking sounds like a real otter when it sprays.
If you want your garden to grow faster without extra work, this pet does the job. It stands near your crops and keeps them watered on its own, so your plants are ready sooner.
