The Huge Starfish is a Common pet from Grow a Garden. It came out in the Summer Update and hatches from the Common Summer Egg with a 50% chance. That makes it the most common pet in that egg, next to the Seagull and the Crab.
The Starfish has one big trait called You're a Star. It gains extra XP every second, on top of the normal XP all pets earn. The bonus grows with its weight, so heavier Starfish level up even faster. It keeps gaining XP even when its hunger hits zero.
This makes the Starfish one of the fastest growing pets in the game. Players love it as a sacrifice pet. Age it up, then trade it in for extra pet slots, egg slots, or pet inventory space. It beats the Brown Mouse and Grey Mouse for this job.
The Starfish is coral pink with five arms and a smiling face in the middle. It has 1,500 Hunger and moves very slowly, but speed does not matter for its role. Its trait only helps itself, not other pets or plants, so its whole value is fast leveling.
