The Huge Sunny Side Chicken is a pet from Grow a Garden. It is an uncommon pet that came out on August 9th, 2025 as part of the Kitchen Storm Update during the Cooking Event. It has a white body, orange feet, and a beak. A fried egg sits on top of its head, just like a sunny side up egg.

This pet has a passive trait called Better Eggcelerator. It makes eggs hatch 20% faster. The trait stacks with other chickens, and it even works while you are offline. Eggs cannot go past 2x hatch speed with these pets. Other chicken pets, like the Chicken and Rooster, share this same trait.

The Sunny Side Chicken is a limited-time pet. It does not hatch from an egg. It only comes from the Rat Connoisseur event rewards, so getting one takes some luck. That makes it rare and hard to find in the game.

The pet has a hunger stat of 3400. It also has a fun secret. During the Aurora Borealis weather event, the egg on its head glows with the same effect as Aurora mutated crops.
