The Kiwi is a Rare pet in Grow a Garden. It came to the game in the Lunar Glow update. This small bird has a brown body and head, a yellow beak, yellow feet, and black eyes. When it sings, soft musical notes in blue, green, and pink appear above it.
The Kiwi is more than a cute bird. It has a helpful passive ability. It flies above the egg on your plot with the most hatch time left and sings to it. Its song cuts about 25 seconds off that egg's hatch time every 60 seconds or so. This means your eggs hatch faster, so you get new pets sooner.
The Kiwi only works when there is an egg to help. If your plot has no eggs, or if all your eggs are done with their hatch timers, the Kiwi stays inactive until a new egg needs its song.
Players who hatch a lot of eggs will get the most from this pet. Faster hatch times mean more pets in less time. Add a Kiwi to your garden and let its song speed up your egg hatching.
