Buy Grow a Garden Mallard

Description

The Mallard is a legendary pet in Grow a Garden. It came out on September 20, 2025, as part of the second half of the Fall Market Event. It has a white body, a green head, an orange beak, brown wings, and a brown breast. It shares its model with the Golden Goose.

The Mallard has a passive ability called Southbound. Every 30 minutes, it flies south to migrate. When it leaves, it drops a random gear item for its owner. Then it returns to the player's inventory. Rewards can include 1 to 3 Maple Syrup, a Bonfire, a Maple Sprinkler, a Harvest Basket, or a Golden Acorn. The Golden Acorn is a big prize. It resets the age of a pet that is age 40 or higher and gives that pet a random Mutation.

In the game, the Mallard comes from the Fall Festival Pets shop. Players must trigger 40 Fall Blooms to unlock it, and it costs 700,000,000 Sheckles when in stock. It rarely shows up in the shop, which makes it hard to get. It is one of only three pets with a half-hourly ability, along with the Zebra and Show Pony.
