Description
The Moon Cat is a Legendary pet in the Roblox game Grow a Garden. It has a lavender and purple body with neon lavender whiskers, pink inner ears, a pink nose, and black eyes. At night, its features glow in the moonlight. Its eyes stay open even when it sleeps.
The Moon Cat naps about every 70 seconds. Each nap lasts about 20 seconds. While it naps, new fruit that starts growing within about 20 studs of the cat grows about 1.5 times larger. The fruit must begin growing during the nap to get the boost. It also has about a 6% chance to make Night type fruits stay on the plant after harvest, so the plant can be harvested again.
The Moon Cat pairs well with pets like the Triceratops and Echo Frog, which speed up plant growth and push more fruit into the nap window. Watering Cans also work well with plants like Moon Melon, since that fruit grows when watered.
The Moon Cat was added on May 24th, 2025, in Update 1.07.1 during the Lunar Glow Event. It has 2400 hunger and shares its trait with the Orange Tabby.
