Buy Grow a Garden Quetzal

Description

The Quetzal is an event-exclusive pet in Grow a Garden on Roblox. It arrived on May 23, 2026, in the third part of the Bizzy Bees 2026 update. This bird is the only pet in the game that can create the Resplendent mutation.

The Quetzal has a passive ability called Resplendent Bird. About every 4 minutes, it has around a 15% chance to give a nearby fruit the Resplendent mutation. The pet has a hunger requirement of 25,000, so hunger-support pets or regular feeding help it work well during long farming sessions.

Players want the Quetzal because the Resplendent mutation powers the Moss Wyvern. That pet needs nearby Resplendent mutations for its mutation conversion and XP generation. Without a Quetzal, there is no way to make this mutation.

The Quetzal came from the Season 5 Pass at Level 25. A Giant variant was offered with the Premium Pass at the same level. The Giant Quetzal starts at a 20% chance every 3 minutes and 20 seconds. Each kilogram adds 0.15% to the chance and cuts 3 seconds from the cooldown, up to a 40% chance and a 1 minute 40 second cooldown. It is currently unobtainable in the game.
