The Rainbow Blue Jay is a pet in Grow a Garden with the Rainbow mutation applied. It is the same bird as the normal Blue Jay, but its Rainbow mutation makes its passive ability stronger.

Its passive ability is called Berry Friend. With the normal Blue Jay, all Berry type plants grow 1.55x faster. The Rainbow version boosts this effect even more. This makes the Rainbow Blue Jay a strong pick for any garden built around Berry plants.

The Blue Jay is an Uncommon tier pet with 1,500 Hunger. It looks like a real blue jay. Its wings have a blue gradient that fades to white at the tips. It has a white belly, black feet, and an orange beak.

This pet came from the Seed Stages Event, which started on September 27, 2025. Players earned the Blue Jay by reaching Level 2 in Season 1 of the Season Pass. The Rainbow Blue Jay went to players who bought the Premium rewards track and reached Tier 2. The pet is now unobtainable in the game, so it is a rare find for players who missed the event.
