The Raptor is a legendary pet in Grow a Garden. It came out on July 5, 2025 as part of the Prehistoric Event. It looks like a movie velociraptor with green skin and a long tail.

The Raptor has two passive abilities. Clever Claws gives fruit a 2% to 2.5% chance to get the Amber mutation after you collect it. Rarer plants have a lower chance to mutate. Raptor Dance boosts your movement speed by 14% to 14.5%. Both abilities grow stronger as the pet levels up and gains weight. The Raptor has a hunger value of 40,000.

This pet hatched from the Dinosaur Egg with a 35% chance, which made it the most common of the six dinosaur pets. It could also come from the DNA Converter. The Prehistoric Event has ended, so the Raptor can no longer be obtained in-game. That makes it a rare pet to own now.

Players want the Raptor because it does two jobs at once. It adds the valuable Amber mutation to crops while you harvest, and it helps you move around your garden faster.
