The Rhino is a Mythical pet in Grow a Garden. It was added on November 1st, 2025 as part of the Safari Harvest Event. It hatches from the Safari Egg with an 8.5% hatch rate. The Rhino has a grey body and a white horn, just like a real rhino.
Its ability is called Rhino Ram. Every 14 minutes to 7 minutes 24 seconds, the Rhino charges into a random egg or fruit in your garden. If it hits an egg, the hatch time is cut in half. If it hits a plant, the plant gets the Mirage mutation. This ability cannot be mimicked or refreshed. The Rainbow trait makes the ability trigger faster, from every 11 minutes 5 seconds down to 5 minutes 33 seconds.
The hatch time boost is great for eggs that take a long time, like Bug Eggs or Jungle Eggs. The Rhino has a hunger value of 66,000, so keep it fed to make sure the ability keeps triggering. It pairs well with mutation-boosting pets, since they can build on its Mirage effect. Players like the Rhino for its high trade value and its two-in-one ability.
