The Salmon is an uncommon pet in Grow a Garden. It came out on September 20, 2025 as part of the Fall Market Event. It looks like a real salmon with a red-green body.
The Salmon has a passive ability called Salmon School. It gains about 4 bonus experience for every other Salmon in your garden. This ability even works while you are offline. The bonus stacks, so more Salmon means more experience. A full garden of Salmon can add up to 24 extra XP gain. The bonus only helps other Salmon, not other pet types.
This extra experience helps you unlock free pet upgrades faster. It is a big help when a pet needs a high age to reach its next level.
The Salmon is a limited pet from the Fall Festival Pets shop. In the game, players needed to trigger 9 Fall Blooms during the Fall Event to buy it, and it cost 50 million Sheckles. It has a hunger stat of 2,500. It is also the second fish pet in Grow a Garden. The first was the Koi.
