The Scarlet Macaw is a Legendary pet in Grow a Garden on Roblox. It came out on June 21, 2025 as part of the Summer Update. It hatches from the Paradise Egg with an 8% chance, which makes it one of the rarest pets from that egg.

This bird is the only way to get the Verdant Mutation in the game. Its passive ability is called Verdant Bird. Every few minutes, it has a small chance to mutate a nearby fruit and apply the Verdant Mutation. Crops with this mutation get a x4 value boost. When the ability works, the Scarlet Macaw shows off a rainbow aura with feathers around it.

The Scarlet Macaw is mostly red with a grey beak, black eyes, and yellow feet. Its wings mix red, yellow, and blue. A white patch around its eyes looks a bit like a heart. It has a variant called the Hyacinth Macaw, which applies the Cloudtouched Mutation instead.
