Description
The Starfish is a Common pet in Grow a Garden. It came out in the Summer Update on June 21, 2025. It hatches from the Common Summer Egg with a 50% chance, which makes it the most common pet in that egg. The other pets in the egg are the Seagull and the Crab.
The Starfish has five arms and a smiling face in the center. It is coral pink with a lighter stripe down each arm. It has 1,500 Hunger and is one of the slowest moving pets in the game.
Its trait is called You're a Star. The Starfish gains about 6 extra XP every second. The bonus grows with its weight. This XP only goes to the Starfish, not to other pets. It even gains XP when its hunger is at 0.
This makes the Starfish one of the fastest growing pets in the game. It is the best pet to age up and trade in for extra pet slots, egg slots, and pet inventory space. It beats the Brown Mouse and Grey Mouse as a pet for leveling up fast.
