Description
The Toucan is a rare pet in Grow a Garden. It came out in the Summer Update on June 21, 2025. It hatches from the Rare Summer Egg with a 25% chance. The egg is exclusive to the event, so the Toucan is a limited pet.
This pet is a black bird with a big orange beak, blue feet, and a white patch on its face. It flies and walks around the farm and likes to stay near the middle of the garden.
The Toucan has a passive ability called Tropical Lover. It gives all tropical plants within about 25 studs a size bonus and a variant chance bonus. This raises the chance to get giant, gold, and rainbow fruits. It works on crops like Banana, Coconut, Dragon Fruit, Mango, Pineapple, Starfruit, and Watermelon. Plants must already be growing in range for the bonus to work.
The effect stacks, so more than one Toucan in the same garden makes the bonus stronger. Fruit sizes from stacking have a cap after a game patch. Players who grow tropical crops want this pet for bigger fruit and better variants.
