Description

The Turtle is a Legendary pet in Grow a Garden. It was added in the Animal Update on May 3rd, 2025. It hatches from the Legendary Egg with a 2.13% chance, which makes it one of the rarest pets in that egg. It has 10,000 hunger.

The Turtle has a green head and limbs, a dark green shell with green rectangles, and a yellow belly. Its eyes and nostrils are black, and its toenails are a muddy yellow color.

This pet does one thing, and it does it well. It makes every sprinkler in the game last about 20% longer. This works on all sprinkler types, including basic, advanced, godly, master, and honey. There is no cooldown on this effect. For example, a Master Sprinkler normally runs for 10 minutes. With the Turtle equipped, it runs for 12 minutes instead.

The Turtle is the first pet in Grow a Garden that changes how gear works. As the Turtle ages, its bonus to sprinkler duration grows even bigger. Players can equip it while sprinklers are running and swap in a different pet at other times.
