Description

Abyssal ashes are demonic ashes in Old School RuneScape. They are a members-only item used to train the Prayer skill. Players can scatter them at Prayer level 1 for 85 Prayer experience each.

The Demonic Offering spell gives much better results. Each cast offers three abyssal ashes for 255 experience per ash. That adds up to 765 experience per cast. With a rune pouch, a full inventory takes just 9 casts to clear. These ashes cannot be offered at the Chaos Temple or at player-owned house altars.

The ash sanctifier can also purify them on its own. It gives 42.5 experience per ash with the Hard Kourend and Kebos Diary done, and 85 experience with the Elite diary done.

Abyssal ashes drop every time from abyssal demons, greater abyssal demons, and the Abyssal Sire. They are tradeable and noteable, but they do not stack. Each one weighs 0.056 kg. The item was released on 16 June 2021.
