The Adamant shield (h5) is a kiteshield in Old School RuneScape. It has a heraldic design painted on the front. This design makes it stand out from a plain shield, so many players wear it to show off their style.
The shield comes as a reward from medium Treasure Trails. It is a rare drop from the reward casket, with a chance of 1 in 1,133. Players cannot make it with the Smithing skill, so clue scrolls are the only source.
You need level 30 Defence to wear it. It has the same bonuses as a regular Adamant kiteshield. It gives +27 Stab, +31 Slash, +29 Crush, and +29 Ranged defence, with -1 Magic defence. It lowers your Magic attack by 8 and your Ranged attack by 3.
The shield is free to play, so any account can use it. It is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 5.896 kg. Players with a costume room can store it in the treasure chest to save bank space. It is a good pick for players who want solid melee defence with a rare look.
