Description
Ahrim's hood 0 is the fully degraded form of Ahrim's hood, a piece of Barrows equipment in Old School RuneScape. It goes in the headwear slot. At the 0 stage it cannot be worn until it is repaired. Because it is fully degraded, it can be traded.
Once repaired, the hood needs 70 Defence and 70 Magic to wear. It gives a +6 magic attack bonus and a +1% magic damage bonus. It also has solid defence bonuses, with +15 stab, +13 slash, and +16 crush. Repairing the hood costs 60,000 coins at an NPC. An armour stand in a player-owned house costs less, and a higher Smithing level lowers the price even more.
The hood is part of Ahrim the Blighted's set. When a player wears the full Ahrim's set, successful magic attacks have a chance to lower the target's Strength level. Wearing the set with an amulet of the damned lets players autocast Ancient Magicks and gives a 25% chance to hit with 30% more damage. Barrows gear lasts for 15 hours of combat and works at full power at every stage until it hits 0.
