Description
The Amulet of avarice is a members-only amulet in Old School RuneScape. It has the same combat stats as the amulet of glory, with +10 to all attack bonuses, +3 to all defence bonuses, +6 strength, and +3 prayer. Its real power shows against revenants. It gives a 20% boost to accuracy and damage when fighting revenants, but this does not stack with the Slayer helmet (i).
While worn, most drops from NPCs in the Revenant Caves, Wilderness Slayer Cave, and Chaos Temple come as bank notes. This makes long trips easier since noted loot saves inventory space. Wearing the amulet skulls the player, and the skull stays until the amulet is removed. It then fades after twenty minutes like a normal PK skull. While skulled, unique drops from revenants are almost twice as common.
Top-damaging players who wear it while killing the Revenant maledictus gain the Forinthry Surge skull. This adds another 15% accuracy and damage boost against revenants for 30 minutes. The amulet is tradeable, weighs almost nothing, and is a strong pick for anyone hunting revenants in the Wilderness for profit.
