Description
The Amylase crystal is a key ingredient in Old School RuneScape. Players use it to make stamina potions. Mix one crystal with a super energy potion at level 77 Herblore. Each crystal turns one dose of super energy into one dose of stamina potion. You need four crystals to make a full stamina potion(4) from a super energy(4). Each dose you make gives 25.5 Herblore experience.
Stamina potions are popular with players who run a lot, so amylase crystals are always in demand. The crystals are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing. That makes them easy to store and carry.
In the game, amylase crystals come from amylase packs. Grace in the Rogues' Den sells a pack for 10 marks of grace. Worm Tongue at the Colossal Wyrm Remains sells one for 100 Termites. Pirate Jackie the Fruit at the Agility Arena Store sells one for 60 Brimhaven vouchers. Each pack holds 100 crystals, which is enough to make 25 stamina potion(4).
An Amulet of chemistry or Alchemist's amulet can be used when mixing, as long as the super energy potion has fewer than four doses.
