Description
The Ancient ceremonial mask is a head slot item in Old School RuneScape. It is part of the ancient ceremonial robes set. The mask has no requirements to wear, so any player can put it on right away.
This is a Zarosian item. When you wear it in the God Wars Dungeon, Zarosian NPCs will not attack you on sight. This makes it a handy piece of gear for players who spend time in that area. It does not let you skip the Zarosian kill count needed to reach Nex's chamber.
The mask gives no attack or defence bonuses. It has a +2 prayer bonus and weighs only 0.3 kg. It is a members item that can be worn but cannot be traded, stacked, or noted.
The mask drops from all NPCs in the Ancient Prison except Nex. This includes Zarosian spiritual mages, rangers, and warriors at a 1 in 640 rate, Blood Reavers at 1 in 640, and Fumus, Umbra, Cruor, and Glacies at 1 in 1,000 each.
You can store the mask in the magic wardrobe of a costume room once you have the full robes set.
