Ancient chaps are a piece of Ancient blessed dragonhide armour in Old School RuneScape. They are leg armour made for ranged combat. You need 70 Ranged to wear them. There is no Defence requirement, so more players can use them.

These chaps have the same offensive stats as black dragonhide chaps, with a Ranged attack bonus of +17. They also add a +1 prayer bonus and stronger defensive bonuses. Their defence stats are +31 Stab, +25 Slash, +33 Crush, +28 Magic, and +31 Ranged. Magic attack takes a -10 penalty. They weigh 5 kg.

Ancient chaps cannot be made with the Crafting skill. In the game, they come as a reward from hard Treasure Trails. That makes them a nice pick for players who want the look of the ancient set without doing clue scrolls.

You can store Ancient chaps in the treasure chest of a costume room as part of the ancient blessed dragonhide armour set. Ultimate Ironmen cannot take out single pieces until the full set is stored. Grab Ancient chaps to boost your ranged setup with extra defence and prayer.
