The Ancient coif is a piece of Ancient blessed dragonhide armour from Old School RuneScape. It is aligned with the god Zaros and gives your character a clean, dark look. This is a members only item. To wear it, you need at least 40 Defence and 70 Ranged.

This coif is a solid pick for Ranged builds. It gives a +7 Ranged attack bonus and a +1 Prayer bonus. Its defence bonuses are +4 Stab, +7 Slash, +10 Crush, +4 Magic, and +8 Ranged. The only downside is a small -1 Magic attack bonus. It weighs just 0.9 kg, so it is light to carry.

In the game, the Ancient coif drops as a reward from hard Treasure Trails clue scrolls. That makes it a rare find for many players. You can also store it in the treasure chest of a costume room as part of the ancient blessed dragonhide armour set. Ultimate Ironmen cannot take out single pieces until the full set is stored.
