Description

The Ancient d'hide shield is a ranged shield in Old School RuneScape. It is made of leather and is aligned with the god Zaros. To wear it, you need 40 Defence and 70 Ranged.

This shield has the same bonuses as the black d'hide shield, plus an extra +1 prayer bonus. It gives +7 to ranged attack and strong defence bonuses: +21 stab, +18 slash, +16 crush, +15 magic, and +14 ranged. This makes it a solid pick for rangers who also want a small prayer boost. The shield weighs 8 kg.

You cannot make this shield with the Crafting skill. In the game, it comes as a reward from hard Treasure Trails. It is part of the blessed dragonhide gear, but it is not needed to complete the Ancient dragonhide set.

The shield can be stored in the treasure chest of a costume room. Open the interface for the matching clue tier first, or use the shield on the opened chest to store it right away. The item ID for the Ancient d'hide shield is 23197.
