Description
The ancient effigy is a rare item in Old School RuneScape. It is a drop from revenants in the Revenant Caves, deep in the Wilderness. It is a members item that is tradeable but cannot be worn. It weighs 0.1 kg and does not stack.
The main reason players want this item is its high value. You can give it to the Emblem Trader in the Revenant Caves for 8,000,000 coins. This trade only works on the official Bounty Hunter world. It will not work with the Emblem Trader in Edgeville. You can also use a chisel on the effigy to break it into 16,000 revenant ether.
All revenants can drop the effigy, from the level 7 revenant imp up to the level 397 revenant maledictus. Stronger revenants have better drop rates. Being skulled raises the drop rate, but a skull from a high-risk PvP world does not count. It can also come from Bounty crates, tiers 1 through 9.
Be careful with this item. It is always lost on death, even if it is the only item in your inventory. It looks like a recolored tier 5 mysterious emblem.
