Description
The Ancient medallion is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a mysterious artifact from ancient times, and it drops from revenants in the Revenant Caves. It weighs 0.1 kg and can be traded to other players. It cannot be worn.
The main reason players want this item is its high value. You can give it to the Emblem Trader in the Revenant Caves for 4,000,000 coins. This trade only works on the official Bounty Hunter world. You can also use a chisel on the medallion to break it into 8,000 revenant ether.
The medallion drops from all revenants, from the Revenant imp at about 1 in 44,000 to the Revenant dragon and other strong revenants at about 1 in 8,000. Being skulled improves the drop rate, but the skull from a high-risk PvP world does not count. Bounty crates of any tier can also give the medallion at a 9 in 1,000 chance.
Be careful with this item. It is always lost on death, even if it is the only item you carry. That risk is what makes farming it hard, and it is why many players prefer to buy one instead.
