Ancient page 1 is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It looks like a page torn from a book. Players can get it as a reward from Treasure Trails clue scrolls at every tier except beginner. The page is tradeable and stackable, and it weighs nothing.
This page is one of four ancient pages. All four pages can be added to a damaged Ancient god book. Jossik sells the damaged book for 5,000 coins after players finish the Horror from the Deep quest. When all four pages are in the book, it becomes the book of darkness.
The book of darkness is worn in the shield slot. Players can also use it to preach. This makes the pages a key step for anyone who wants to finish this god book.
The four ancient pages can also be packed into a book of darkness page set with a Grand Exchange Clerk. This keeps the pages together in one item. Ancient page 1 has the item ID 12621. Its examine text reads: "This seems to have been torn from a book..."
