The Ancient robe top is a piece of Prayer gear in Old School RuneScape. It is part of the Ancient Vestment set. Players get it as a reward from easy Treasure Trails. You need level 20 Prayer to wear it.
This robe top gives a +6 Prayer bonus. That means your Prayer points drain more slowly while you wear it. It also gives a +4 Magic attack bonus and a +4 Magic defence bonus. These stats make it a solid pick for training Prayer or for low level Magic setups.
The dark look of the Ancient robe top matches other Ancient Vestment pieces. Many players collect the full set for its style and its Prayer boost.
You can store this item in the treasure chest of a costume room in your player owned house. Open the easy clue interface first, or use the item on the open chest to store it as part of the set. Ultimate Ironmen cannot take out single pieces until the full set is stored.
The Ancient robe top came out on 12 June 2014. Its Prayer bonus was updated on 24 July 2014 to match monk robes.
