Description
The Ancient totem is a rare item in Old School RuneScape. It drops from revenants in the Revenant Caves, a dangerous part of the Wilderness. Every type of revenant can drop it, from the level 7 Revenant imp to the level 135 Revenant dragon. It is a members-only item that is tradeable but cannot be worn.
The main use of the Ancient totem is simple. You can hand it to the Emblem Trader in the Revenant Caves for 1,000,000 coins. This trade only works on the official Bounty Hunter world. The trader will not take it in Edgeville. You can also use a chisel on the totem to break it into 2,000 revenant ether, which is handy for the Wilderness weapons that need ether to work.
Be careful with this item. The Ancient totem is always lost on death, even if it is the only thing in your inventory. Do not carry it into a fight you might lose. If you want fast coins or a big stack of revenant ether without long hours of hunting revenants, the Ancient totem is a smart pickup.
