Description

The antler guard is a tribrid shield slot item in Old School RuneScape. It is a members' item that needs only level 50 Prayer to wield. There is no Attack or Defence requirement. This makes it a strong pick for low level and pure builds that want more damage.

The guard gives +15 to stab, slash, and crush attack. It also gives +9 magic and +9 ranged attack. On top of that, it adds +5 Strength, +2 ranged Strength, and +5 Prayer. One shield boosts all three combat styles at once.

The trade off is defence. The guard takes -15 from every defence stat. It works best in fights where the player does not expect to get hit often. It is worn for damage, not for survival.

The antler guard drops from custodian stalkers in the Stalker Den near Auburnvale. The mature custodian stalker drops it at 1/800 and needs level 67 Slayer. The elder custodian stalker drops it at 1/650 and needs level 76 Slayer. The item is tradeable on the Grand Exchange.
