Description
The Apprentice wand is a one-handed magic weapon in Old School RuneScape. You need level 50 Magic to wield it. It is a members item that gives a +10 Magic attack bonus and a +10 Magic defence bonus.
This wand can autocast spells from the Standard spellbook, the Arceuus spellbook, and Ancient Magicks. That makes it a solid choice for mid-level mages who want to train combat or fight with a wide range of spells. Spells cast with the wand have a 10 tile range. It also has melee combat styles called Bash, Pound, and Focus, which use the Crush attack type.
The wand normally comes from the Mage Training Arena. Players trade in pizazz points to get it, and they must have a Beginner wand first. Getting one this way costs 60 Telekinetic, 60 Alchemist, 600 Enchantment, and 60 Graveyard points. That takes a lot of time in the arena. Since the wand is tradeable, buying one lets you skip the grind.
