The Arcane prayer scroll is a rare drop from the Chambers of Xeric in Old School RuneScape. It holds scrawled words that can invoke the power of the gods. When you read the scroll, it teaches you the Augury prayer. The scroll is used up when you read it.
Augury is one of the best prayers in the game for magic. You need 70 Defence and 77 Prayer to use it. There are no skill requirements to read the scroll itself, so you can learn Augury early and use it once your stats are high enough.
This is a members-only item. It can be traded with other players and it can be noted, so it is easy to carry. It weighs only 0.015 kg. The item ID is 21079.
Keep in mind that reading the scroll gives no benefit if you already know Augury. This scroll is not the same as the Dexterous prayer scroll, which unlocks the Rigour prayer instead. If you want a strong magic prayer for bosses and raids, the Arcane prayer scroll is the item to get.
