Buy OSRS Astral rune

Description

The Astral rune is a members-only rune in Old School RuneScape. It is used to cast all Lunar Spells. Astral runes are stackable and tradeable, and they weigh nothing. The rune was released on 24 July 2006 and has the item ID 9075.

Crafting Astral runes takes level 40 Runecraft. Players use pure essence at the Astral Altar on Lunar Isle after finishing the Lunar Diplomacy quest. Each essence gives 8.7 Runecraft experience. At level 82 Runecraft, players get two Astral runes per pure essence. The Astral Altar cannot be reached through the Abyss, and no talisman is needed to enter it.

Players can also buy Astral runes at Baba Yaga's Magic Shop on Lunar Isle after Lunar Diplomacy. The shop stocks 250 runes. A Seal of passage is needed to trade with Baba Yaga unless the player has finished the Elite tier of the Fremennik Diary. Spiritual mages also drop Astral runes in stacks of 15.

Buying Astral runes saves time on quests, travel, and Runecraft training. With a stack of these runes, players can cast Lunar Spells whenever they need them.
